Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated October 15, 2026 · Callmeleon by Pulpy Media

Callmeleon is for harmless fun: prank your friends, surprise your family, play a character. This policy explains what's not allowed. It is part of our Terms of Service.

1. Keep it harmless

  • Prank people you know, who will take it in good humour.
  • Reveal the prank before the call ends, or soon after. Don't leave anyone confused, scared or out of pocket.
  • If the other person is upset or asks you to stop, stop, and don't call them again.

2. You may not use Callmeleon to

  • Harass, bully, stalk, intimidate or threaten anyone, or make repeated unwanted calls.
  • Commit fraud, scams or phishing, or trick anyone into giving money, codes, passwords or personal information.
  • Extort, blackmail or coerce anyone.
  • Impersonate a real person, business, bank, government agency, police or emergency service, or pretend to be someone else in a way meant to mislead or cause harm.
  • Make false reports to police or emergency services ("swatting"), bomb threats or hoaxes.
  • Make robocalls, autodialled or prerecorded-message calls, or telemarketing, sales, political or bulk calls.
  • Call any number whose owner has opted out, or anyone who has asked you not to call.
  • Record a call without the consent the law requires. Some states require everyone on the call to agree.
  • Disguise your identity to get around a restraining order, a block or a ban.
  • Send hateful, sexually explicit or violent content to someone who hasn't agreed to it, or involve minors in anything inappropriate.
  • Make a call appear to come from a number you don't own, or otherwise spoof caller ID.
  • Get around our limits, share or resell accounts, create multiple accounts to evade limits or bans, or attack, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service.
  • Break any other federal, state or local law.

3. You're responsible for your calls

You are responsible for what you say and for following all laws that apply to your calls. These include telemarketing laws (such as the TCPA), call-recording and consent laws, and anti-harassment laws in your state and in the state of the person you call.

4. Safeguards built into the Service

  • Daily limits on the number of calls per account, and on repeat calls to the same number.
  • One live call at a time per account.
  • Rate limits on sign-in codes, and one verified phone number per account.
  • An opt-out list anyone can join to stop Callmeleon calls to their number.
  • Calls show your own verified number or a Callmeleon number, never a fake one.
  • Emergency, N11, toll-free and premium-rate numbers are blocked.

We may change these limits at any time.

5. Enforcement

If we believe you've broken this policy, we may warn you, block calls to certain numbers, suspend or close your account, and remove credits without refund. We cooperate with law enforcement and respond to valid legal process, such as subpoenas and court orders, and may share relevant call records when we do.

6. Report abuse

If you received an abusive call through Callmeleon, email hi@callmeleon.space with your number and the date and time of the call. We review every report. To stop all Callmeleon calls to your number, use the opt-out page. If you are in danger, call 911.
