You can delete your Callmeleon account and its data at any time, in the app or by email. This page applies to the Callmeleon app (Android package app.callmeleon) by Pulpy Media.
1. Delete in the app
- Open Callmeleon and sign in.
- Tap Account at the bottom.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account is deleted right away and you're signed out on every device.
2. Delete by email
If you can't use the app, email hi@callmeleon.space with the subject "Delete my account", from or including the phone number on your account. To protect you, we'll send a one-time code to that number to confirm the request. We complete email deletions within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
3. Before you delete
- Your subscription: when you delete your account, we ask Google Play to turn off auto-renewal. To be sure, check Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Remaining minutes (subscription or top-up) are lost and can't be refunded or restored.
- Deletion is permanent. If you sign up again with the same number, you start a new account without the free-minutes bonus.
4. What we delete
- Your profile: phone number, display name and settings.
- Your balance and credit history.
- All your sign-in sessions.
- Your verified caller ID registration with our carrier.
5. What we keep, and for how long
- Call and billing records (number dialled, time, duration, cost, Google Play order IDs): up to 3 years, or longer if the law requires, for tax, accounting, fraud prevention and law-enforcement requests. They are no longer linked to your profile.
- A one-way hash of your phone number, so the same number can't claim the free-minutes bonus again. A hash can't be turned back into your number.
- Security logs (IP address, device info): about 90 days, then deleted.
- Abuse records: if your account was suspended for abuse, the minimum needed to prevent re-registration and to respond to legal process.
- Opt-out list: if your number is on the do-not-call list, it stays there so we keep honouring it.
- Call audio: we never record or store calls, so there's nothing to delete.
6. Just want to stop calls to your number?
You don't need an account. Use the opt-out page.
